THE "LIVE YOUR TRUTH" TOUR BEGINS

Program includes an effort by Ken Morris and Beta Wave Records designed to help launch  the music career of original high school artists.

     August 1, 2010 marks the official release of Ken Morris' Indie label; Beta Wave Records. The first Beta Wave sponsored, Ken Morris concert of the fall tour will take place October 9th, 2010 at 7PM at:

    The unique program will begin with 6 original high school bands or solo artists each performing two of their compositions.  A panel of music industry professionals will be on hand to judge the competition.  The winning artist  will have their best original song recorded and released as a single by Beta Wave Records!  In addition, the winner will be given the opportunity to be the opening act at a future Ken's Morris show.  The evening will conclude with a high-energy Ken Morris rock performance.  A sellout performance is expected so you are encouraged to buy your tickets early to experience the excitement of the tour's opening show.

     Beta Wave Records will record Ken's October 9 and other 2010 shows in preparation for and as a basis for the national tour segment and CD release scheduled for Spring 2011. "I want to give the fans the songs I do...the versions I do live, that they really like and want", Ken said in a recent interview.
         Preparations are underway for additional shows/competitions at other regional high schools where more original teenaged artists will have the opportunity to learn first hand about the record business, have their own single released, and gain the experience of opening for a professional recording artist.
